Abstract

Uncollectible receivables are debts owed by another party to you or the company for a business transaction, but these receivables cannot be returned by the creditor even though collection measures have been attempted. The existence of receivables makes the situation inversely proportional. The company actually received bad debts as a result of the buyer not paying the loan. With this internal control, it is hoped that fraud can be minimized so that what has been set by the company is achieved. In this research, the approach that will be used is a qualitative approach. Based on research conducted on receivables procedures, starting from recording, billing, to disbursing UD's receivables. It is known that Galaxy Motor management pays good attention to the internal control of UD's outstanding receivables. Galaxy Motor is good in terms of recording, managing and monitoring outstanding receivables. By establishing strict and clear credit policies from the start, dealers can minimize the risk of bad debts. Routine monitoring and regular reporting helps in identifying receivables that are overdue, enabling immediate action to collect or resolve the problem. System implementation and the formation of a competent collection team play an important role in ensuring that receivables are collected on time
